BBM Global Network Does Not Honor Their Contract

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I would recommend that anyone considering working with BBM Global Network think about it carefully. My experience with BBM Global Network was less than stellar. I had a 36-month contract with them and at the halfway point of my contract I sent Eddie Dunn, Chief Strategy Officer, a certified letter and follow up email notifying BBM of breach of contract for several issues, including: •Not taking the steps to build and manage the audience for the talk show program •Only issuing one announcement to promote the show (even through the contract mentioned multiple announcements) •Not providing feedback about the listenership of the show in spite of Eddie Dunn’s assurance that I would receive weekly reports •Not providing accounting of the secured sponsorship that I was eligible for, even though Eddie Dunn indicated to me that there were some monies due to me. Prior to sending the email and certified letter, I had called and left dozens of voice messages and sent an equal number of emails but received no response from BBM. After sending the letter, I had to call again because BBM had made a major error in the production of my show. I actually reached Eddie Dunn and he assured me multiple times that he would get me the information and take the actions that were promised in the contract. He did not deliver. Eventually I took BBM to court for breach of contract, and the case was awarded in my favor based upon substantial justice. I was unable to leverage and maximize the marketing aspect of my show because Eddie Dunn and BBM did not live up to their part of the contract. To date, BBM has not paid the amount that the judge awarded me.

This business sounds just like Empire Radio who scammed me out of a lot of money never returned my calls, rarely answered my questions and if they did answer a question it was lies because they never acted on what they said they’d do. A bunch of narcissists must work there.

Eddie Dunne is a liar. Run as fast as you can away from BBM Global Network

Unfortunately, there have been MANY breaches of contract with this company, and Eddie Dunne needs to face a class-action lawsuit where we all seek damages and the reimbursement of our expenses. He is not a salesman, he is a LIAR! Tom, his "Executive Producer" is, at least, honest about the fact that you will probably never be "monetized," but you find this out long after the credit card charges have hit the account. I was completely scammed, and it has hurt my business, overall, dealing with them because there were constant cancellations of my show, technical issues that caused my show to be cut-off midstream, not to mention taking Tom's advice to offer "free" services to get people to listen, and now people seem to want to only use my services if they are given away. That is MY problem, of course, but being lied to, upfront, and Eddie never returning any of my calls or emails is on them. Eddie told me he would be holding my hand throughout the entire process, and that was a bold-faced lie. Don't be a radio host with this company unless you want to throw away $3750.

BBM Global Steals Money From Women and Does NOT Deliver On Contract.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
On Nov. 11th 2014 I entered into a contract with BBM Global Network to produce a 1 hour radio talk show with them, once a week for 16 weeks. Our VERBAL agreement was that the show would launch in January of 2015, and 16 weeks would take us to May. At that point we would reassess the agreement to see if it was working to our mutual benefit. I gave them $1750, and they agreed to the following commitments, in writing 1) My show would be aired on iheart radio.com, tunein.com roku and various other platforms with substantial listener bases already in place. 2) I would have a marketing "team" devoted to ensuring the success of my show by creating and managing 10 different social media accounts. I was informed that these accounts would be put in place BEFORE my show launched, in order to ensure it's visibility and success. Further more, this marketing team would be creating promotional materials for the show, and approaching possible sponsors. The idea that I was sold was that I would have a whole team of professional marketing people helping to market and promote the show, to make it a commercial and financial success. I gave them the money and scanned back my contract on Nov. 11th and then heard NOTHING from them until I filed a dispute with my CC company on Dec.20th. Previous to filing the initial dispute, I had sent them (Eddie Dunne) about 5 emails and left 3-4 phone messages, with NO response. On Dec 20th the producer, Tom contacted me to set up a "practice run" after the Holidays. I canceled the dispute in good faith, trusting that these people would honor their word. The new year came and went, with no mention of launching my show. When I asked Tom about the marketing team, he directed me to speak to Eddie Dunne (BBM Global president). I emailed and called Eddie several times, and received no reply. I did my first "practice" run of the show mid to late January. I had a date with Tom to do another "practice"run 2 weeks later, which he cancelled at the last minute. When I asked Tom about the launch of my show, he deflected to Eddie, who continued to ignore all of my inquires. In Mid-late February, an associate of mine sent a letter to BBM global regarding breach of contract with me, to which Tom immediately replied via email, and Eddie Dunne called to apologize. In my conversation with Eddie in Feb/March he acknowledged that my show would NOT be aired on iheart radio, and that he had failed to honor our original agreement, but that he wanted to do everything he could to "make it right". Again I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I was told that a marketing team would be in contact with me within the week, and we would be gearing up to launch the show with full backing within a few weeks. Despite numerous emails and phone calls to Eddie Dunne, I have never heard back from him, or a marketing team. I finally realized in April, as we approached the END of my 16 week contract, that BBM Global had no intention of honoring ANY of their agreements with me. ALSO- please note that I had a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE, that if I have not earned back my initial investment of $1750 in commercial revenue by the time the 16 weeks was up, I would be refunded the entirely of my investment. On May 1st my Lawyer sent the following email: Dear Mr. Dunne: Attached is an demand letter on behalf of Devi Ward. It is notice to BBM Communications, LLC (BBM) of its breach of contract with Ms. Ward, and a demand for a return of her $1750.00 payment. I will mail a hard copy as well. Very truly yours, Patrick M. Gallery o: BBM Communications, LLC From: Patrick M. Gallery Re: Breach of Contract with Devi Ward Dear Sir(s): Devi Ward has retained me to notify you that BBM Communications, LLC (BBM) is in material breach of the written contract entered into with her, and this is to demand payment in full of the $1,750.00 paid to you for services not delivered. At Ms. Ward’s suggestion, I am sending this via email. On or about November 11th 2014 Ms. Ward entered into a contractual agreement with your company (she worked with Edward Dunne), by signing and emailing to Mr. Dunne a signed agreement pursuant to which she paid $1750.00 to BBM to produce a weekly talk radio show over a 4 month period with 16 shows. Mr. Dunne told Ms. Ward that this series of shows would commence January 1st, 2015, and the 4 month period would end in April of 2015. She was guaranteed at least $1750.00 in advertising revenue from the 16 show series, and if not, then her $1750.00 would be refunded. As of this date the show has not launched. Ms. Ward was also promised in the contract, among many other things, that: • Ms. Ward’s show would be aired on several networks including TuneIn and iheartRadio. On December 9th 2014, Ms ward was notified by email that BBM had just been accepted by tunein.com, When Ms. Ward inquired about iHeart Radio, she was told that there was no ability to get her show placed on that network in the near future. • BBM would create or control up to 10 social media accounts for her show. As of today, none of these networks have been put into place to support the launching of her show. Ms. Ward was also promised that BBM would provide a marketing team to work with Ms. Ward to build and manage her listening audience. Ms. Ward sent repeated emails and made repeated phone calls to Mr. Dunne, requesting information regarding this marketing team. All of her emails and subsequent phone calls were ignored. Accordingly, BBM is in material breach of the contract terms and this is to demand refund of $1750.00. Please send these funds to my office, made payable to Devi Ward, within 14 days of the date of this letter. Very truly yours, Patrick M. Gallery He mailed a hard copy to their "business" address in NY. The letter was returned and the email has not been acknowledged at all. On May 20th, my lawyer sent them this email Dear Mr. Dunne: Attached is a letter I've prepared on behalf of Devi Ward, demanding refund of the $1750.00 paid to BBM for services never delivered. I had previously mailed it to your attention at 505 Johnson Ave., Bohemia NY 11716 . This was the address listed on the contract entered into w/ Ms. Ward. However, it came back to me as a wrong address. So I am emailing this to you, and would appreciate you acknowledging you received it and give me a current address and I will mail you a hard copy. Very truly yours, Patrick Gallery There has still been no response to myself or my Lawyer.

Really sorry to hear this and yet glad that you have shared it online. BBM global have contacted me re a show and they were going to call me yesterday apparently and have postponed til 930am New York time this morning.

I am already on another channel- who when they aporoached me I said yes by email response before even reading the contract as I could feel how good that was- whereas with this group I have sat back and let them do all the driving persay...

and took the extra time I now have to really research why I smelt a rat.

Now, thanks to you, I found out exactly why, on top of their lack of audience engagement re lack of likes on posts on social media despite a measley 4k likes on fb page etc... All signs that confirm my suspicions.

And they wanted a psychic for this channel and have represented it as co-venture and co-profit sharing etc...and they contacted a psychic...

one who actually works in this field fulltime for 21 years internationally and succesfully and knows a lot of professionals in the industry. .. hmm. Bad choice BBM, cause I think we found more about you than you hoped...

and I am glad I listened to my inner tuition xxx

Dearest Devi, I pray they pay you for not only your payment so far, but for damages.

Much love and respect.

PS,

If I was a company with a genuine issue with a potential host on the scale demonstrated even by BBM Global's really badly thought out response, I would just pay the lady back her money and kake her sign a non disclosure contract in the process and hand it over with agreement to take this down within 24 hours of receipt of payment.

What I wouldn't do is post that response up, even if it were true, which I don't feel it is.

Devi, you go girl.

I am sorry to hear that. I encourage you to speak to your bank and get your money back.

There are 4 other female hosts that I know of who have had the same experience as I did. They offer nothing but lies.

There is this guy and his wife that ran this same scam on me about 3 years ago. I got all my money back by threatening to contacte all his other hosts, the ATTORNEY GENERAL and PAYPAL. Again, all my money back.

Wow. This is a total and complete lie.

I am stunned at the depth of

dishonesty this company has just demonstrated.

Everything you have written is a lie. I don't even know how to respond, other that I feel really sad that you as a company are willing to sink this low.

I do admire you pulling the "angry black woman" card. That one should take you really far.

I truly have no recourse at this time, as I am simply not willing to invest any more energy in fighting with you. You are wrong.

Everything you shared below is a lie. You know it, I know it, and that is enough for me.

Your lack of integrity will catch up with you at some point. In this life or the next, it is guaranteed.

I truly wish you the best in your endeavours. Best, Devi Ward Tantra LLC

BBM

BBM Global Network, after conducting a thorough investigation of the above complaint posted by our client, Certified Tantric Healer Devi Ward, has discovered several discrepancies in the grievances outlined by Ms. Ward, and would like to clarify the confusion.

Firstly, as a Marketing Agency with a focus on spotlighting creative, forward-thinking individuals, we endeavor to partner with passionate, motivated, trail blazing entrepreneurs, and Devi Ward certainly fit that description.

Unfortunately, Ms. Ward has other, less desirable traits that reared their ugly head as soon as her training sessions commenced. Ms.

Ward was fortunate to be assigned to our lead production specialist, Tom, a qualified audio engineer with over 20 years of professional experience. It was agreed that Tom would coach her through two pre-recorded practice sessions of her 1 hour radio broadcast before a live airing. However, Ms. Ward demanded that the practice sessions be re-done several times, and as a result, Tom devoted 6 hours over the course of 4 weeks to coaching and prepping her, exemplifying the dedication that BBM has to ensuring our client’s needs are met and that each host is presented with all the tools necessary to launch their show with confidence and the utmost professionalism.

In addition to the coaching sessions, BBM provided Ms. Ward with an original opener/closer musical score for the introduction and conclusion to her radio show, produced a professional 60 second commercial for marketing purposes and developed her banner art, all to Ms. Ward’s satisfaction. The problem began when Ms.

Ward was made aware that her sexually explicit language would not be tolerated on the platforms where her show was to air, specifically iHeartRadio, and that her show would be rejected by said platform if a change was not made and adhered to. Ms. Ward was uncooperative, and at times, combative over the requested cleansing of her language. She accused the radio platforms of giving preferential treatment to Christian-based ideologies, blamed “white male privilege” for creating an intolerant and repressive social atmosphere, and finally launched her attack on BBM for not allowing her to be a “sexually-expressive woman” (see Devi Ward’s Blog: http://deviward.me/2012/09/07/female-sexual-revolutionwhy-its-time-to-take-your-puy-back/).

Contrary to her claims, BBM responded to each and every call, email and text received from Ms. Ward, and continues to be in communication with her. Yet, the resistance from Ms. Ward with regard to this issue was unrelenting, and eventually led to a stall in the launch of her show.

Simply put, Ms. Ward is in breach of contract, and BBM needs her cooperation to fulfill its obligation to her. Making baseless claims to smear our company over a simple and reasonable request is not only unprofessional, but unlawful. BBM has already made a considerable investment in her campaign, including providing her with multiple coaching sessions, audio and commercial production, and graphic design.

Our ultimate goal is to reach an amicable solution to continue working with Ms.

Ward, but at this time, we are unwilling to issue any refund due to pending litigation, and will not make any arrangements to move forward until this libelous material is withdrawn and our reasonable requests are met.
